Skirrid Fair Walk Abergavenny 05/05/24

We kicked off at 10am and began to follow the Skirrid Fawr trail in Usk Valley. The scenery at the bottom was so gorgeous! We were amongst the trees for the first 2km’s and then we started to walk into the open, and were faced with the most spectacular scenic views of Abergavenny. From the top we could see all 3 peaks of Abergavenny, Blorenge, Sugar Loaf and the one we stood on, Skirrid Fair.

This walk was approximately 5km’s, and with a few stops along the way, it took us about 2 hours to complete.

We were so lucky to have such clear, sunny weather for the views. It made all the difference and left us with plenty of gorgeous photo opportunities.

Well done Team RA! Another walk off of our bucket list!
